Due to the overwhelming response to our lesson program, we are no longer able to provide lessons to the general public. Lessons will only be made available to volunteers and those leasing.

I would like to thank all of my students, for the opportunity to teach you. You have all been wonderful to work with. Lauren

All proceeds for lessons benefit H.O.P.E. organization entirely. There are no fees paid to instructors, all are volunteers. The goal of H.O.P.E. is to educate on the joys of horse ownership along with responsibility. Lesson fees help us pay for the care of our rescued horses and help us pay our expenses.

Our program is offered to volunteers who wish to learn......

  • to properly ride using a balanced seat and learning proper aids

  • about training and schooling horses under saddle (must already know how to walk, trot and canter properly and are a confident rider)

  • to learn how to train and school horses on the ground through in hand work, longeing and long lining (must be at least 12 years old and a confident handler)

  • to properly groom

  • to handle the horse (halter, lead, manuever)

  • or to lease a horse they are not qualified to lease without instruction.

Private Instruction with each lesson focused on a goal.
