H.O.P.E. Benefit Horse Show by the Avon Lake Saddle Club | Friday, Sept 10
Contact Pam Foley to volunteer to help or for more information. Spectators watch the show for free. Entry fees are based on class. Contact the Avon Lake Saddle Club to enter your horse. The show is located at Weiss Field in Avon Lake. All breeds of horses are welcome. We would like to thank the Avon Lake Saddle Club for being so generous to H.O.P.E. and allowing us to help out at all of their shows, they are an awesome group of people!  H.O.P.E. will be entering adoptable horse RC, thanks to Linda Johns.


H.O.P.E. Open Barn | Sunday Sept 12 | Noon to 4pm
Contact Lisa Ockajik to volunteer to help or for more information. Activities will include a craft table for the kids, face painting, hair wrapping, demonstrations, pony rides, games, food and a tack sale. Location: 27240 Sprague Rd, Olmsted Township


H.O.P.E. at TLC in Medina | Saturday Sept 18 | 10am to 4pm
Contact Jeanne to volunteer to help or for more information. Activities will include a craft table for the kids, pony rides for the little ones and cart rides for children and adults :-)  Meet Flo, one of the mini horses that was saved by H.O.P.E. and adopted by Debbie.  If you would like to donate bakery, please contact Jeanne . H.O.P.E. Horse First-Aid Workshop | There will be a second one in September |

This clinic is for Adults and children (ages 12 and up) who currently own a horse or for anyone who just wants to learn.  Attendees will learn how to take a horses' vital signs and read them, administer medications (by mouth and shots), administer wormer, learn how to wrap legs and feet and attend to wounds and how to measure for height/weight.  We will also discuss what to look for with colic and other life threatening conditions.  "If you are around  horses, this a great, knowledgeable clinic to attend?  You do not have to be leasing or own a horse to benefit from this workshop!!

A 6'ish mile hike : $10.00 donation per Participant / Contact Linda Johns or Jessica Holzworth for more information. Dogs are welcome if on a leash.


H.O.P.E. Steak Fry | Saturday November 6 | 6pm to 11pm
