Home Association Mission/Goals
H.O.P.E. takes in and cares for abused, neglected, unwanted and slaughter-bound horses; regardless of age, breed, sex, injury, illness or behavior. We provide these horses with appropriate medical care and emotional needs, proper nutrition, safe shelter and appropriate training through skilled or compassionate handlers. We believe in alleviating a horses’ suffering when every other option is exhausted, under the advice and care of the veterinarian, by humane euthanasia. We are committed to the safety and proper care of horses through public awareness by providing clinics and seminars. We are dedicated to working with our future horse owner generation, providing special opportunities for youth groups and underprivileged children. We ensure proper placement of horses into foster and permanent homes, using rigid adoption and foster care guidelines.
